Trade Report Cards

Overview

Click the + or note icon on any trade to open its trade report card. It slides in from the right and works the same whether you opened it from the Trade Grid, Trade Reports, or a day on the calendar. Structured fields walk you through your reasoning, emotional state, market read, and what you'd improve next time. The goal is to build a record you can actually learn from.

Trade Chart

For closed trades on supported instruments, the panel renders a candlestick chart zoomed to your trade window. Your entry and exit are plotted as markers directly on the chart, so you can see exactly where you got in and out relative to price action. Supported instruments include major futures contracts and forex pairs.

MAE, MFE, and Captured %

Next to the trade summary, three excursion stats tell you how you managed the trade. MFE is the furthest the price moved in your favor, MAE is the furthest it moved against you, and Captured % is the share of the favorable move you actually realized. Together, they reveal whether you cut winners short, sat through deep drawdowns, or executed close to the ideal exit.

Setups

Add tags to categorize trades by setup or strategy (e.g. "breakout," "mean reversion"). Tags are searchable and filter across Trade Reports.

Grading

Each trade gets a Performance Grade (A through F) and an Execution Quality (Perfect, Decent, or Improve). These are separate on purpose — a losing trade can still be well-executed, and a winner can still be poorly managed.

Note Fields

There are 5 note fields: Entry Reason, Exit Reason, Market Conditions, Emotional State, and Improvements. You can fill these in and all of your notes will be searchable in the Trade Reports page.

Prefer to talk? Each field has a mic icon for dictation. Click to speak, tap again to stop.

Keyboard Shortcuts

For fast reviews, use ← / → to flip between trades, E to enter edit mode, and Esc to cancel or close the panel.
